About The Daily Era
The Daily Era is a free collection of simple online tools for everyday time and number problems: more than 20 tools, including a stopwatch, countdown timer, Pomodoro timer, world clock, age, BMI, loan EMI, GPA, Zakat and Hijri date calculators, a unit converter, a word counter and a password generator. We also publish short practical guides on our blog.
Who runs the site
The Daily Era is created and maintained by Huzaifa M Khan, an independent developer and student of web technology from Pakistan. He builds and tests every tool himself and writes the guides that appear below them.
Why it was made
Many timer and calculator websites are slow, crowded with pop-ups, or ask you to sign up before you can do something simple. The idea behind The Daily Era was the opposite: tools that load fast, look clean, work on a phone as well as a laptop, and never ask for personal information. Everything runs in your browser, so the numbers and dates you enter stay on your own device.
Our mission
Our mission is to make small, reliable utilities that save people a few minutes every day. Students can time their study sessions, teachers can run classroom activities, professionals can schedule calls across time zones, and families can count down to a trip or a birthday. We want each page to be useful on its own, with clear instructions, practical tips and honest answers to common questions.
How we keep quality high
We write our own guides rather than copying other sites, we test the tools on mobile and desktop, and we fix problems when readers report them. The site may show advertising in the future to cover hosting costs, but ads will never block the tools or get in the way of using them.
